Rishab Rikhiram Sharma, a New York-based sitarist, music producer, and composer, and mental health advocate seems made for the spotlight, his multifaceted career shaping up to be nothing short of iconic.

Rishab's journey with the sitar began at age 10 under the guidance of his father, then catching the eye of the legendary Ravi Shankar, who took young Rishab on as his youngest and last disciple. Rishab is on a mission to fuse Indian classical music traditions with modern interpretations and twists while championing mental health awareness and bringing healing through his music.

He has completed several tours sponsored by renowned brands across the US, Canada, India and Europe. His performances have captivated live audiences exceeding 60,000 people and millions of viewers worldwide.

    In 2020, Rishab established 'Sitar For Mental Health' to promote mental health awareness and the use of Indian music as a method for healing, collaborating with mental health experts to create a holistic approach for mental well-being.

    Rishab made history as the first solo sitar player and sole traditional Indian musician to perform at The White House during the 2022 Diwali event hosted by President Biden, proudly representing the Indian community and heritage.

    Rishab’s debut EU and North American tour was a huge success, with all 13 dates selling out almost-instantly.
