Lola Moxom is a 20-year-old London-born singer-songwriter redefining modern R&B with powerhouse vocals, intricate runs, and captivating live performances. A rising star in the UK scene, she’s quickly becoming one of the genre’s most exciting new voices.
Raised in a musical household — her father a bassist and her mother the lead singer of their funk/jazz fusion band — Lola was immersed in a world of rich musical influences. Inspired by legends like Prince, Yellowjackets, Jill Scott and Stevie Wonder. She developed her own sound, blending R&B, soul, jazz and pop with emotive, relatable songwriting.
Artists like Brandy, Jazmine Sullivan, Brian McKnight, Frank Ocean and more that further shaped her artistry.Lola has already shared the stage with acclaimed artists, supporting Humble the Great and performing at the legendary Jazz Café. She also opened for Grammy-winning R&B icon Alex Isley. This summer, Lola has performed at The Great Escape, Glastonbury and We Out Here Festival.
