Madrid-based DJ and producer duo Sparrow & Barbossa—Swiss pianist Bryan Coletta and Uruguayan-born Emiliano Haberli—blend organic instruments with electronic sound, creating a unique fusion rooted in soul, jazz, funk, and African tribal rhythms.

Sparrow & Barbossa have carved out a distinctive space in global electronic music, fusing deep cultural influences with dancefloor energy. Their breakthrough came in 2018 with a chart-topping version of Mory Kanté’s “Yeke”, followed by acclaimed remixes and their debut album Seven Seas, which hit #1 on Traxsource and amassed over 11 million streams. Known for collaborations with legends like Josh Milan, Dele Sosimi, and Francis Coletta, they’ve also earned strong support from Keinemusik, who turned their track “Morena” into an Ibiza anthem.

In 2022, Bryan and Emiliano launched Tortuga Tribes, their own label and home for “Caribbean House”—a sound that celebrates Latin American culture and unites artists across continents. Their second album Réciprocité brought in powerful voices like Starving Yet Full and Maria de Moraes, while their 2023 collaboration “Champion” with Rampa became an instant #1 Afro House anthem. With millions of streams, world tours, and a commitment to blending heritage with innovation, Sparrow & Barbossa continue to shape the future of electronic music.

Tortuga Tribes Record Label

In 2022 Bryan and Emilano started their own record label, Tortuga Tribes, giving a voice and a home to a whole community of artists and musicians from all Latin America and democratising a genre they have decided to call “Caribbean House”.
Release Debut: Yeke

Sparrow & Barbossa's production debut came in 2018 with their version of Mory Kante's classic 'Yeke' released on Wired Records. The track became a #1 Afro House record.
