Leader Mgmt recently partnered with other independent managers to establish C.O.A.L Management, supported by YMU Group. Leader Mgmt now benefits from the infrastructure & resources of a large global agency whilst retaining it’s boutique, personalised approach to artist management.

JULIA KHAN

Khan, a Billboard Women in Music Executive Honoree 2025, is a former Head of Marketing at Jive/LaFace Records where she handled global campaigns for stars like Britney Spears, Chris Brown, Justin Timberlake and P!NK. More recently she co-managed USHER for 8 years and launched his sold-out Las Vegas residency. As President of C•O•A•L, she oversees the team while managing her own roster and consults to Grammy winning artist Muni Long.

JAHA JOHNSON

Jaha Johnson is a veteran music executive and artist manager, who has played significant roles in the careers of stars such as Mary J. Blige, Common, Brandy & USHER during his two-decade career. Currently, he is managing Ari Lennox, IDK, and Camper. He also founded November Yellow in 2022, a record label focused on artist development and authentic audience connections.

MAX LEADER

Max Leader is the founder of Leader Management and he has over 20 years of experience managing artists. Leader MGMT currently looks after a number of clients including Benji B, Rishab Sharma, Lil Silva and Yussef Dayes. In addition to artist management, Max specialises in sourcing, negotiating and managing the booking of artists and musicians, as well as helping to navigate licensing of music for events.

J. ERVING

J. Erving is the founder of Human Re Sources, a company he sold to Sony Music in 2020. Now, he serves as EVP at Sony while chairing the Board of Music at C.O.A.L Management. He has worked with artists like Brent Faiyaz, Pink Sweats, and currently RAYE, who recently won six BRIT Awards.
